The journey began with Priddy Ugly’s hit track “Ntjaka” featuring Maglera Doe Boy and MashBeatz, which has already garnered over 5.5 million streams and is nearing platinum status. To celebrate, Priddy decided to drop a remix. But when Cassper Nyovest unexpectedly popped by during a meeting with Sjava, the remix took an unexpected turn. “We had some other artists in mind for the remix, but Cassper was the only one who came through with his verse,” Priddy recalled. Instead of sticking to the original plan, they decided to reinvent the track entirely.

The twist? Cassper suggested adding an up-and-coming talent, Fabulous from the Vaal, to the track. “Cassper hit me up, like, ‘There’s this kid from the Vaal, Fabulous. He’s got some serious talent. We should get him on the hook,’” Priddy shared. Even though he hadn’t heard of Fabulous, Priddy trusted Cassper’s judgment, and the trio began crafting something fresh.
